PARISH MEETING UPDATE [15TH JUNE 2020]
Update to Parish Council Meetings – please see our Meetings Page for the latest updates to the Parish Council Meeting schedule during the Covid-19 restrictions.

Covid-19 Update
In line with the instructions from the UK Government on 23rd March 2020, no Parish Council meetings or non-essential activities will be scheduled until we are advised otherwise. We will keep a close eye on government advice to local authorities and will provide any further updates on this page and via local social media.
The Parish Council met on Wednesday 18th March to formally invoke it’s Business Continuity Plan. This ensures that the Council continues to run in these unprecedented times. At our meeting, we heard from residents wishing to help our community by offering practical support to the vulnerable, elderly and those self-isolating. The Parish Council was pleased to be able to support this by funding a phone line for volunteers to advertise to the community. A leaflet with the phone number, email address and details of suppliers providing a local delivery service is below. The Parish Council would like to commend each and every volunteer and local suppliers involved in setting this up so quickly; this just reinforces what a wonderful, caring community we live in.
Play Area
The government has now ordered all play areas to be closed until further notice. Due to the condition and height of the fencing and gates around the play area, it is not feasible for the Parish Council to restrict access completely, however we will be placing signs in the playground advising of the closure and ask for your support and assistance in ensuring that your children do not play on the equipment until the government advice changes. The recreation ground will still be open to facilitate daily exercise but please observe guidelines regarding social distancing when visiting.
