Parish Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer

Salary £11.76-£14.42 per hour (SCP 13-23) 

5 hours per week, home based with some travel to local meetings and appointments

Glynde & Beddingham Parish Council is looking to appoint a Clerk to join our pro-active, collaborative team. We’re looking for somebody with the drive, determination and organisational skills to manage a varied workload and to assist our Councillors in making a positive and lasting impact in our thriving village community.

In addition to managing the day-to-day administrative work of the Parish Council, the Clerk will work closely with Councillors and key stakeholders to plan and implement the aims and objectives of the Council and achieve the outcomes of our Business Plan.

The ideal applicant will be organised, IT-literate and financially aware and be able to demonstrate enthusiasm for working with the local community.

Full training will be provided and sponsorship towards the Certificate in Local Council Administration (CiLCA) will be provided after a qualifying period.
